Getting to Dunedin

Dunedin International Airport serves as a gateway to the wider Otago region. The airport receives trans-Tasman flights from Brisbane and domestic flights from New Zealand's main centres which arrive several times a day.

The airport is located 22km west of central Dunedin and the drive takes approximately 30 minutes. There are shuttles providing a transfer service between the airport and the city.

Getting Around Dunedin

Supershuttle is a quick, easy and reliable option for getting to and from Dunedin Airport and around town.

Dunedin buses provide affordable transportation options for visitors to get around the city.

As distances to places of interest in Dunedin are not great, taxis are reasonably cheap by New Zealand standards. They provide transport to most destinations and most companies offering wheelchair taxi transport.
